Kameko to Koi

EDIT 2: Another edit;; Restored the colors a bit more, the water had just faded away :< I'm sorry fornot doing it minor, I just really want you guys to see what it really looks like;;

Because I suck at Japanese (titels).
"Kameko to Koi" should mean "Kameko and Koi" but my Japanese is noob so yeah;; I just thought it sounded pretty and cool and.. idk I'm just screwed.

Last one in the art flood :'D Though ironically (?) enough it's the first drawing I finished during my vacation. I made the sketch a huuuuuuuuuuuge while ago and I liked it too much to do-not finish it xD Even though I had no idea how to color water so I studied on that first :'D

I love this piece and at the same time I absolutely don't like it at all. It's looks quite pretty (x100 in real;; ) but it's just so plain :< It's mostly background and GUESS WHAT, I'm not really amazing at background;; So that kinda bugs me I guess.

THE DRAWING GOT SOAKED BY RAIN IN MY BAG, AND THEN IT GOT ALL BOBBLY. I HAD IT BETWEEN A DONALD DUCK ALBUM - AND ALL MY "WOORDENBOEKEN", 200 SUSKE&WISKE'S AND MY HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS AND THE HALFBLOOD PRINCE BUT IT DIDN'T GET.. NOT-BOBBLY AGAIN. SO MY MOM IRONED IT FOR ME A FEW TIMES AND NOW IT LOOKS BETTER;; But it still has shadows on it when scanned :< It was worser before even D: That really pissed me off >8I


The whole drawing is colored with Copic Ciao Markers. The sky was done with pastel crayons, and some things were edited and added with coloring pencils :> I tried to give this drawing a calm, sweet atmosphere. I hope it calms you just by looking at it, staring at the Koi Carpers/Karpers, swinging under the surface of the water, with cherry blossom petals floating on the wind <3

Kameko's face is done slightly different than usual, but I really like it, I think it fits the drawing c: Btw, the outline of her eyes, the water and the tree were done with coloring pencil! :'D It was kinda hard to redraw the pencil lines but I somehow succeeded c':
