Plastic Island - Ida outfit

My god, fiiiinaalllyyyy done O_____O
I don't think a drawing ever took me this long !!
I worked a whole week on this, at least one hour every day. I think I worked around,, 12 hours on this? .__. Sheesh >__>

But it's worth it neh? c:
This drawing is for a contest on Hyves.
You had to design a cool outfit for Merel Moonen her OC Ida (She doesn't has DA).

Her famous OC Ayla lives, togheter with her OC Ida and probably some others on an island called "Plastic Island", found only by those with pure hearts. Plastic Island is totally made from plastic, even the bottom of the sea. Ayla and Ida have the ability to change their look, like their hair(color), eyes and eyecolor, clothes, skin color, add things like wings and elf ears, etc.

For the contest, u had to come up with an awesome outfit for Ida, allowed to change her hair and stuff. My idea is,, weird. Here's on explaination:

On Plastic Island, there's a house called "the Grey Mansion". Because, insteed of the rest of the colorfull island, this house has none color. All the colors of the house and surrounding are gone, absorbed, leaving only grey colors behind. Of course this looks very weird, since the rest of Plastic Island is unbelieveable colorfull. So Ida came with the idea to paint the Grey Mansion !! Of course, you don't color plastic with paint neh? So guess what flows trough those tubes on her dress,,, PIGMENT-powder !! 8D The mega-like thing she's holding will shoot the pigment at the Grey Mansion, and Plastic Island's magic will help the pigment to absorb the grey, give the Grey Mansion it's color back and keep Plastic Island colorfull !!

Pretty complicated outfit neh? xD
The mega-like things were really fun to draw and gives it a robotic look, while the leave-like thingies remind you of the Island itselfs and gives a nice swing to it C:

If you take a close look, you can see I used a texture to make the pigment look like powder,, Watercolor A to be exact C:

And the rainbows were such a pain to make XD

Ida is the Origional Character of Merel Moonen, please don't use her or my drawing ~
